The Human Resources (HR) Systems Analyst II at Republic Services, Inc. plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between the HR Systems team and the Corporate and Field HR business teams. This position is responsible for providing systems support and analysis, leveraging technology solutions to meet the needs of the HR Department and users of the HR information system. The HR Systems Analyst II will lead, evaluate, analyze, design, and implement complex projects within the Workday application, ensuring that the system is configured to meet the operational needs of the organization. In this role, the analyst will perform complex Workday HCM configuration changes, create test scripts, and conduct thorough testing to ensure that all processes align with predetermined goals. The analyst will also research, design, test, and implement configuration changes that result in process improvements. As a lead subject matter expert for Workday HCM, the analyst will apply their knowledge to maintain effective system utilization and accuracy, supporting assigned Workday modules and managing Workday Semi-Annual Releases. Additionally, the HR Systems Analyst II will coordinate projects, manage project plans, gather statuses, and communicate project-related issues, including scope changes. The analyst will identify and document requirements for configuration changes and articulate project expectations to team members. This position requires a strong understanding of the current business processes and the ability to identify areas for improvement, supporting the organization in achieving its HR technology goals.
