About the position

The Worker's Compensation Business Analyst at AIG plays a crucial role in supporting maintenance activities related to Workers Compensation policy issuance systems. This position is integral to the underwriting team, focusing on monitoring workloads, coordinating testing efforts, and ensuring quality targets are met. The Analyst will work closely with IT support and other team members to facilitate changes and improvements in the policy issuance process.

Responsibilities

  • Review pending work items and create formal request documentation for changes to be delivered by IT support.
  • Respond to any queries or clarification requests from IT support on requested changes.
  • Test delivery of changes as part of UAT (User Acceptance Testing); rejecting to IT support any failures and signing off on Production move upon successful testing.
  • Author Release Notes for changes being moved to Production.
  • Format and distribute weekly/monthly reports as directed by management.
  • Track personal and teamwork items as part of productivity reporting for management.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Worker's Compensation policy insurance systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage one's time in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong communication and comprehension skills, both written and verbal.
  • General computing and technology knowledge to support use of shared resources and communications like SharePoint and Teams.
  • Problem solving and conflict resolution experience.
