Responsibilities
- Investigate claims as reported and determine injured worker's eligibility for workers' compensation benefits.
- Administer indemnity and medical benefits for valid workers' compensation claims.
- Manage the progression of the claims process through collaboration with physicians, nurses, attorneys, and other parties as needed.
- Ensure all file handling is within state statutes, client's claims handling guidelines, and best practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience handling workers' compensation lost time claims as a claims adjuster.
- Prior experience with Pennsylvania lost time claims is required.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
