About the position

Responsibilities

• Apply claims management experience to execute decision-making and analyze claims exposure.
• Interact extensively with various parties involved in the claim process to ensure effective communication and resolution.
• Provide exceptional customer service to claimants, exhibiting empathy throughout the claims process.
• Handle claims in accordance with clients' and corporate policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
• Document and communicate claim activity timely and efficiently to support the outcome of the claim file.
• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve workers compensation claims using analytical skills.
• Work in partnership with clients to deliver innovative solutions and enhance the claims management process.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years related claims experience.
• Active Adjuster's licenses: Texas All Lines or Work Comp Adjuster License.
• Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices.
• Computer experience with related claims and business software.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's Degree
• 2+ years' experience adjusting lost time work comp claims from initial contact to resolution.
