About the position

We are a fast-growing law firm seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Workers' Compensation Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law and workers' compensation law, with excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for proofreading, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file legal documents related to workers' compensation claims, including petitions, applications, and motions.
• Assist attorney with case management.
• Coordinate with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers to gather necessary information for case development.
• Organize and maintain case files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Communicate with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information for their claims.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on workers' compensation or personal injury law.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in personal injury law and workers' compensation law is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Excellent writing skills with attention to detail for proofreading documents.
• Familiarity with legal administrative tasks and legal case management processes.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
