About the position

The position at U.S. Bank involves distributing workload, monitoring production, and participating in work as necessary. The role requires coordination with other work areas to ensure compliance with service standards and regulatory deadlines, as well as resolving routine exceptions and problems. The individual will prepare reports and performance monitoring to inform management of operational activities, provide work direction and training to staff, and maintain knowledge of products, services, and systems in the assigned area. This role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule with an in-office expectation of three or more days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Distributes workload and monitors production.
  • Participates in work as necessary.
  • Coordinates with other work areas to ensure compliance with service standards and regulatory deadlines.
  • Resolves exceptions and routine problems, referring complex issues to supervisor or manager.
  • Prepares reports and performance monitoring to inform management of operational activities.
  • Provides work direction and training to staff.
  • Maintains knowledge of products, services, and systems in assigned area.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Four or more years of bank operational functions, systems, policies and procedures, or related experience.

  • Thorough knowledge of computer applications and/or the equipment used in the assigned area.
  • Good customer relations skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Well-developed ability to identify and resolve/escalate problems.
