About the position

The Workforce and Operations Coordinator at ATI is a vital role within the aerospace manufacturing team in Appleton, WI. This position is responsible for supporting both Human Resources and Operations by coordinating administrative tasks, facilitating new employee orientations, and managing attendance records. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills to effectively handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and organize the candidate/interview process, including scheduling and communication with candidates and the hiring team.
  • Facilitate new employee orientation programs, ensuring all new hires complete necessary documentation and understand company policies.
  • Monitor and track employee attendance, maintaining accurate records of absences and tardiness, and generating attendance reports.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for front office inquiries, providing excellent customer service to employees and visitors.
  • Manage the front office area, including maintaining a clean workspace and handling mail and deliveries.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for HR and Operations staff.
  • Assist with HR-related tasks, including maintaining employee records and processing HR paperwork.
  • Provide administrative support to the Operations team, including data entry and report generation.
  • Organize engagement events and tours with visitors, and lead safety initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices and principles.
  • Excellent calendar management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with manufacturing environments is a plus.
