About the position

ATI is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our aerospace manufacturing team at our Cudahy, WI facility. This role is pivotal in supporting both Human Resources (HR) and Operations, ensuring efficient coordination of various administrative tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the union bid process, facilitating new employee orientation, and overseeing attendance management. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the HR and Operations teams. In the area of Union Bid Coordination, the Human Resources Coordinator will manage the entire bid process, which includes scheduling, communication with union representatives, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations. Maintaining accurate records of bid outcomes and ensuring timely communication of results to all stakeholders is essential. The role also involves facilitating new employee orientation programs, which includes scheduling, preparation of materials, and conducting onboarding sessions. The coordinator will ensure that all new hires complete necessary documentation and understand company policies and procedures, thereby setting them up for success in their new roles. Attendance Management is another critical responsibility, where the coordinator will monitor and track employee attendance, maintain accurate records of absences, tardiness, and leave requests, and generate attendance reports. This information will be used to work with HR and Operations to address any attendance-related issues that may arise. In addition to these responsibilities, the Human Resources Coordinator will provide general administrative support, serving as the primary point of contact for front office inquiries and managing the front office area. This includes maintaining a clean and organized workspace, handling mail and deliveries, and managing office supplies inventory. The coordinator will also assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for HR and Operations staff. Furthermore, the coordinator will assist with HR-related tasks, including maintaining employee records, processing HR paperwork, and supporting recruitment efforts. They will also help coordinate employee training programs and development initiatives, ensuring that employees have access to the resources they need for professional growth. Finally, the Human Resources Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Operations team, including data entry, report generation, and document management, as well as assisting with project coordination and follow-up on action items as needed. This multifaceted role is essential for the smooth operation of both HR and Operations within the organization.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices and principles.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Experience with unionized environments is a plus.
