About the position

The Youth Career Coach at Eckerd Connects is responsible for outreach and recruitment activities aimed at participant development. This role involves assessing and maintaining case records for participants, delivering skills training, and developing relationships with employers and community organizations to enhance program success. The position is focused on making a positive impact in the lives of youth through career coaching and support.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach and recruitment activities in the community.
• Identify and recruit target populations of clients and employers.
• Assess eligibility of participants according to project plans.
• Maintain detailed case records of service needs and activities.
• Deliver skills training in software applications and work readiness skills.
• Develop presentation and facilitation skills to engage students.
• Deliver program curriculum in classroom and simulated workplace environments.
• Connect with employers and community organizations to market the program.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (preferred).
• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience working with the targeted population.
• Valid state driver's license and ability to meet auto insurance requirements.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.
