The Workforce Career Coach serves as the primary point of contact for participants in the workforce development program, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements for eligibility and participation. In addition to administrative duties, the Career Coach plays a crucial role in recruiting participants for the program and seeking employment and educational opportunities as they progress. This includes conducting community activities that promote participant development and actively identifying and recruiting both clients and employers to enhance program outreach and effectiveness. The Career Coach will also deliver skills training in software applications, work readiness skills, and basic remedial skills in math and reading, while developing presentation and facilitation skills to engage students effectively in meeting program goals.
