About the position

The Workforce Career Coach plays a crucial role in supporting participants in their career development journey. This position serves as the primary point of contact for participants, ensuring they meet eligibility requirements and receive necessary services related to employment and education. The Career Coach is responsible for recruiting participants, connecting them with job opportunities, and collaborating with community organizations to enhance program success.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for participants and their support networks.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for eligibility and participation.
• Maintain detailed case notes and follow-up services regarding employment and retention.
• Recruit participants for the program and seek employment and educational opportunities.
• Conduct community activities related to participant development.
• Connect with employers and community organizations to market the program.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications or online database tracking systems.
• Valid state driver's license and ability to meet auto insurance requirements.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Past experience working with the targeted population.
