About the position

The Career Coach serves as the primary contact for participants in workforce development programs, focusing on meeting regulatory requirements and providing support for employment and educational opportunities. This role involves recruiting participants, delivering skills training, and developing relationships with employers and community organizations to enhance program success.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for participants and their support networks.
• Meet regulatory requirements for eligibility, participation, and case management.
• Recruit participants for the program and seek employment and educational opportunities.
• Conduct community activities related to participant development.
• Deliver skills training in software applications and work readiness skills.
• Develop presentation and facilitation skills to engage students.
• Connect with employers and community organizations to market the program.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Related Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Past experience working with the targeted population.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications or online database tracking systems.
• Valid state driver's license and ability to meet auto insurance requirements.
