About the position

The Workforce Career Coach serves as the primary contact for participants in workforce development programs, focusing on eligibility, participation, and follow-up services related to employment and educational opportunities. This role involves recruiting participants, delivering skills training, and developing relationships with employers and community organizations to enhance program success.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for participants and their support networks.
• Meet regulatory requirements for eligibility, participation, and case management.
• Recruit participants for the program and seek employment and educational opportunities.
• Conduct community activities related to participant development.
• Deliver skills training in software applications and work readiness skills.
• Develop presentation and facilitation skills to engage participants.
• Connect with employers and community organizations to market the program.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience with the targeted population.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and online database tracking systems.
• Valid state driver's license and ability to meet auto insurance requirements.
