The Workforce Development & Apprenticeship Project Coordinator at Dallas College plays a crucial role in supporting the logistics and implementation of workforce development initiatives and job pipeline opportunities. The coordinator will also analyze data to determine the status of timelines and performance goals, assisting with grant-funded project activities, including tracking and reporting data related to trainees and apprentices. They will set goals and motivate team members to accomplish workforce development and apprenticeship targets, delegating tasks as necessary to support successful project completion. The position involves working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to develop and improve initiatives for complex business projects that involve local, state, and federal grants and apprenticeship initiatives. The coordinator must maintain a large, detailed database and utilize technology to meet scheduled deadlines while effectively managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. In addition to these responsibilities, the coordinator will be expected to communicate appropriately with upper management regarding key initiatives and progress updates on various projects. The role requires a commitment to delivering timely results and a strong ability to analyze problem situations, identify feasible solutions, and present recommendations in a concise manner. The coordinator will also be responsible for completing required professional development training hours each academic year and performing other duties as assigned.
