About the position

The Workforce Development & Equity Analyst position at the Oregon Health Authority focuses on enhancing workforce development and equity strategies within the organization. The role involves collaborating with leadership and cross-agency partners to implement equitable hiring practices, develop processes and guidelines, and engage in continuous improvement initiatives. The analyst will also be responsible for maintaining data dashboards to track progress in recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts, all while promoting the principles of equity and anti-racism in workforce activities.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Division leadership and subject matter experts to enhance workforce development and equity strategies.
  • Facilitate efforts to embed equity, anti-racism, and accessibility principles in workforce activities.
  • Maintain and socialize Division-specific processes and guidelines for recruitment and onboarding.
  • Engage in continuous improvement cycles to refine tools and resources for workforce development.
  • Support Division leadership in establishing workforce equity action plans and priorities.
  • Develop and maintain qualitative and quantitative data dashboards to track workforce development progress.

Requirements

  • A combination of experience and education equivalent to five years of professional-level evaluative, analytical, and planning work.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science, or a related field.
  • Two years of professional-level evaluative, analytical, and planning work.

  • Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple timelines and deliverables.
  • Strong communication skills across various forms.
