About the position

The Workforce Manager at Faith Technologies is responsible for overseeing a manpower pool of 50-100 employees, ensuring that current and future workforce needs are met while developing improvements to existing processes. This role emphasizes strong communication skills, confidentiality, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, as the manager will engage in hiring, onboarding, and mentoring new employees, as well as collaborating with project managers to assess manpower requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Involved in the hiring process and meets with new hires during onboarding.
  • Meets with Project Managers on a scheduled weekly basis to review manpower needs.
  • Communicates with other internal manpower resources to review projected manpower.
  • Assists with planning, organizing, and staffing construction projects.
  • Acts as a coach and developer of talent, selecting and training individuals.
  • Assists in mentoring of new employees and maintains management relationships.
  • Improves the overall quality of field personnel by keeping certifications current and increasing awareness of training possibilities.
  • Develops, administers, and oversees all employee performance evaluation processes.
  • Partners with Human Resources to optimize recruiting, selection, and employee relations.
  • Visits various job sites to interact with crew, customers, foremen, and general contractors to ensure proper job progress and support safe behavior.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED with 2 to 4 years of progressive administrative/field experience in the Operations or Construction industry, or an Associate Degree with 6 months to 1 year of progressive administrative/field experience in the Operations or Construction industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the electrical or energy services industry.
  • Familiarity with safety audits and compliance.
