About the position
The Workforce Management Intern at Sentry is designed to provide students with real work experience in a professional corporate setting. Interns will collaborate closely with the Workforce Management team, gaining insights into how the team contributes to the company's success. This role offers opportunities for networking and mentorship, allowing interns to develop their skills and prepare for their future careers.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Workforce Management team on diverse initiatives within Customer Service & Operations.
- Evaluate department results and monitor contact center call volume, chat, email, and back-office service time trends.
- Redirect contact center staff allocations as needed to ensure service level objectives are met.
- Conduct report analysis to identify issues, form solutions, and measure improvement.
- Collaborate with workforce management leadership and contact center management to analyze forecasts and daily traffic.
- Align staff and adjust schedules to ensure optimal staffing levels are achieved.
- Provide input into workforce management processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Identify and implement workforce management process improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in business analytics, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
- Minimum in-major GPA of 3.0.
- Ideally graduating between December 2025 to May 2026.
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere.
