About the position
The Workforce Management Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the transition of workforce management platforms at a large off-price retailer in New Jersey. This role involves managing two concurrent projects related to the implementation of Workday and Zebra Workcloud across 11 distribution centers and corporate offices, with a pilot scheduled for February 2025. The position requires strong communication skills to interact with high-level stakeholders and the ability to gather requirements and collaborate with various vendors.
Responsibilities
- Manage two concurrent workforce management projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
- Gather requirements and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and high-level stakeholders.
- Oversee the implementation of Workday and Zebra Workcloud, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Present project updates and findings to C-suite executives, including the President and COO.
- Function as a Business Analyst when necessary, wearing multiple hats to support project needs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager.
- Strong background in managing end-to-end IT implementation projects, specifically within workforce management.
- Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and Service Now.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to high-level stakeholders.
- Previous implementation experience with Zebra Workcloud (Reflexis) or Workday.
- Experience in retail, warehouse, or distribution center environments.
