About the position

The Workforce Management Technician position at Irwin Army Community Hospital involves coordinating and supporting workforce management activities, ensuring compliance with Army requirements, and providing administrative assistance to supervisors. The role is essential for maintaining effective workforce management and performance appraisal processes within the hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and interact with the Army Substance Abuse Program (ASAP) to ensure compliance with Army requirements.
  • Notify Department Chiefs and management officials of employees selected for drug testing.
  • Provide administrative support and assistance to IACH supervisors on various issues affecting employees.
  • Serve as the primary administrator for the Defense Performance Management and Appraisal Program (DPMAP).
  • Monitor the timely completion of performance plans and appraisals.
  • Utilize various automated systems and computer applications.

Requirements

  • One year of specialized experience performing technical, administrative, and clerical tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing paperwork.
  • Proficiency in typing at least 40 words per minute with three or fewer errors.
  • Experience using a variety of software applications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a healthcare or military environment.
  • Knowledge of federal employment regulations and policies.
