About the position

The Workforce Services Associate at Sun Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is responsible for coordinating and delivering Workforce Services activities, focusing on payroll data management and HR systems support. This role serves as a technical point-of-contact for HR functional areas, ensuring the integrity and reliability of HR systems while assisting with payroll processing, auditing, and employee record maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and deliver Workforce Services activities.
  • Participate in the preparation, maintenance, processing, and auditing of payroll data and records.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of employee and payroll-related transactions.
  • Manage and support navigation of HCM systems.
  • Serve as a technical point-of-contact for HR functional areas.
  • Support HRIS upgrades, patches, testing, and other projects as assigned.
  • Assist with end-user support issues and impact analysis for new system releases.
  • Support user acceptance testing for new modules or region rollouts.
  • Monitor workforce help inboxes and respond to employee questions.
  • Act as the main point of contact for manufacturing sites regarding HRIS and payroll functions.
  • Maintain employee and department records and employment files.
  • Create and maintain custom reports for internal and external requests.
  • Assist with system testing during HCM implementation.
  • Participate in the review, verification, auditing, and processing of payroll change requests.
  • Coordinate auditing, record-keeping, and reporting functions for payroll data, benefits, and taxes.

Requirements

  • Less than High School education required.
  • 3-5 years of experience with HR data and HR systems; payroll experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables and v-lookup), Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills including tact, patience, and courtesy.
  • Experience in preparation, maintenance, verification, auditing, and processing of employee and payroll-related transactions.
  • General data processing skills; SAP experience is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree with coursework in human resources, business analytics, or a related field.
