The role emphasizes exceptional customer service and requires instructors to maintain current course materials, assess student performance, and develop curriculum. Teaching assignments may vary in schedule and location, including evenings and weekends, across different campuses and business sites within the Lakeshore District.
Responsibilities
- Provide educational experiences for learners in various delivery formats.
- Facilitate learning of diverse students and assess student performance.
- Develop and maintain current/relevant course materials.
- Communicate with the community, other schools, the college, the division, and team members.
- Develop curriculum, including learning activities and assessments.
- Establish a professional and safe learning environment.
- Maintain participant records and documentation.
- Submit documents within the expected timeframe.
- Maintain equipment and supplies as needed to support course delivery.
Requirements
- Education and experience varies by course teaching requirements.
- Familiarity with basic hardware and software in a Windows environment.
- Excellent classroom delivery skills.
- Strong interest in contributing to the success of students and the College.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
