About the position
William Blair is offering a 10-week internship program for undergraduate students during the summer of 2025, aimed at promoting technology careers among high-performing individuals from underrepresented backgrounds. The program includes training, community service, and social events, providing a comprehensive introduction to technology roles within the company.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test and implement software enhancements to existing and new systems
- Gather requirements and conduct analysis for application development and testing
- Work with development tools such as C# .NET, SQL, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Angular, Vue, SSIS, Active Batch, Azure DevOps
- Assist the team in conducting data and systems analysis and reporting using Microsoft PowerBI
- Apply coding standards; follows promotion, testing, and other department standards
- Communicate issues to the Project Manager and implement issue resolutions where needed
Requirements
- Full-time students currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or technology related field with anticipated graduation between December 2025 and June 2028
- Must be organized and have a high attention to detail
- Excellent communication, presentation and critical thinking skills
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies
- Works well in team environments
- Strong knowledge in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
