About the position

William Blair is offering a 12-week internship program for graduate students in the technology field during the summer of 2025. This program aims to promote technology careers among high-performing individuals from underrepresented backgrounds, including women in technology-related programs. Interns will collaborate with Agile teams to develop and support technical solutions, participate in training, community service, and social events, and engage with the latest technology trends.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies.
  • Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, and participating in internal & external technology communities.
  • Collaborate with product and project managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to achieve business outcomes.
  • Utilize programming languages like JavaScript, HTML/CSS, SQL, Python, Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of Azure tools and services.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent training (GitHub Portfolio) with anticipated graduation between December 2025 and June 2026.
  • Proficiency working with at least one of the following: JavaScript, SQL, Python.
  • Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, ability to initiate and drive projects with minimal oversight and guidance.
  • Experience working in SPARK Environment, Databricks.
  • Experience with cloud technology stack like Azure, AWS.
  • Experience in open-source frameworks.
  • Experience in Agile practices.
