About the position

Xerox Corporation is an information services technology company that has continually redefined the workplace experience for more than 100 years is currently seeking a motivated Workplace Consultant. As a Workplace Consultant, you are a subject matter expert on Xerox workplace Solutions and Digital Services Offerings, the role is responsible for the ongoing technical education and pre-sales support required by Xerox Channel Partners. A Workplace Consultant must be able to articulate and evangelizing the Xerox Workplace Solutions value proposition to Xerox Channel Partners. The person in this role is responsible for creating and delivering quality presentations to inform, educate, demonstrate, and engage Xerox partners on Xerox Technology and Solutions resulting in the partner choosing to do business with Xerox. The position requires up to 50% travel.

Responsibilities

  • Workplace Solutions & Digital Services Product/Marketing training for partner sales and IT support
  • Supplement Live Streaming Demo Center for Solutions and Digital Services demonstrations where necessary
  • Demonstrate Software and Digital Solutions
  • Large Deal RFP/RFI Support
  • Support Partner with Customer Sales calls
  • Serve as voice of the Partner to Xerox headquarters and engineering teams
  • Training and engagement provide a fantastic chance to identify potential improvements to the product
  • Provide ongoing feedback to Product Development team to ensure product roadmap reflects users' needs
  • Demonstrated ability to recommend solutions, take direction, and collaborate within a team environment
  • Experience in consulting and project management roles with a focus on process improvement
  • Develop repeatable strategies to help advisors better use new digital tools to more efficiently run their practice
  • Interface, communicate, and support multiple departments within the organization on technology solution needs
  • Provide technical and functional expertise throughout the pre-sales process in collaboration with the sales team
  • Be aware of industry trends, understand the competitive offerings and their differentiators
  • Keep abreast of industry thoughts and initiatives

Requirements

  • BS / BA (Computer Science / Information Management) or greater than five years of equivalent field experience required
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, successfully multi-tasking and determining priorities to meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
  • Demonstrated ability to recommend solutions, take direction, and collaborate within a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Experience in consulting and project management roles with a focus on process improvement

Nice-to-haves

  • CSS / HTML / JavaScript programming knowledge is a plus
  • Full knowledge of Xerox Workplace Offerings is a plus
