About the position

The Workplace Strategy Consultant at CBRE is a self-managing professional responsible for managing small to medium real estate data management initiatives. This role is part of the Client Consulting function, focusing on advisory services related to real estate operations, data management, and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Grow business relationships with new and existing clients to understand data management objectives and needs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for various customers and stakeholders, delivering an outstanding client experience.
  • Navigate ambiguity, identifying problems and using data to guide exploration of potential solutions.
  • Create documentation, including written progress updates, meeting notes, capturing requirements, preparing slide decks, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with internal team members and stakeholders to develop and maintain project timelines and resources, adapting to changes and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Project management to identify and mitigate project risks, track tasks, and facilitate meetings.
  • Showcase expertise in own job discipline and in-depth knowledge of other job disciplines within the organization.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
  • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values, working to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
  • Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.
  • Work within broad guidelines and policies.
  • Explain difficult or sensitive information.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of data management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to track tasks and mitigate risks.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and identify problems using data-driven approaches.
  • Experience in creating documentation and presentations for various audiences.
  • Ability to coach and mentor others in the organization.
