About the position

The Workplace Technology Product Owner, Associate role at Blackstone involves identifying, designing, and implementing modern solutions to enhance user experience with the company's endpoint environment. This position is integral to improving systems related to laptops, desktops, software, and remote access tools, ensuring that the technology meets business needs and enhances productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategy and manage implementation of global initiatives such as enterprise-wide deployments and architecture modernization.
  • Design, refine, maintain, and build a strategic roadmap for productivity tools like Microsoft CoPilot, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Act as a bridge translating stakeholder needs to engineering and represent Blackstone's business and technical needs through vendor relationship management.
  • Work with data sets and present metrics to drive strategic business decisions.
  • Drive Agile prioritization through quarterly and biweekly sprint planning for the team.
  • Decompose larger initiatives into smaller tasks, tracking timelines and dependencies.
  • Deliver status updates, program risks, and presentations to technology leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Author design documents and facilitate peer review and committee presentations.
  • Contribute to a comprehensive training platform for end users and support teams.
  • Research new and emerging technologies to continuously improve the end user experience.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional enterprise level technology experience.
  • Experience with SharePoint Online, including migrations and site design.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams for collaboration and file management.
  • Experience working with cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft's Office 365 Platform.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects on competing deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Experience managing internal and external stakeholders and leading project prioritization.
  • Experience with Agile Project Management methodologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft products and their features, including Microsoft CoPilot.
  • Understanding of cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Azure.
