About the position

The AI Data Product Manager at Apple will lead the development and implementation of data technology products focused on AI, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing (NLP) solutions. This role is pivotal in driving digital transformation across channel sales platforms, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to build a robust AI technology stack. The position requires a strategic vision for data architecture and the ability to translate complex data science concepts into actionable insights for business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an overarching vision and strategy for data and AI technology blueprint and architecture.
  • Establish and oversee data quality standards and strategies to ensure accurate business outcomes.
  • Design and build connected data models and algorithms to answer business questions and estimate causal impact.
  • Transform data science prototypes into useful NLP applications, train ML models, and refine ongoing analyses.
  • Drive digitization, automation, process changes, and a data-first culture within the channel sales & ops team.
  • Partner with cross-functional data teams including Finance, Marcom, Product Marketing, and IS&T to build a world-class AI technology stack.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience working in product leadership roles at major internet players and startups.
  • Experience with data-driven digital transformation projects using AI/ML/NLP technology.
  • Strong background in mathematical modeling, linear and non-linear regression, and consumer decision-making theory.
  • Expertise in R/Python, NLP, and SQL for ETL data pipelines.
  • Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Data Engineering.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in design/development of complex decision-making systems.
  • Experience with building product and data technology stack, architecture design, and development.
  • Expert in industry-standard data analysis and reporting tools including Tableau.
  • Product management mindset with deep business expertise.
  • Ability to share results with a non-technical audience and manage multiple projects on a tight schedule.
  • Skill for building great design and excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Global mentality and experience in sales, consulting, business performance analytics, or change management.
