About the position

The Worldwide Specialist Solutions Architect for Generative AI (GenAI) at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is responsible for helping large customers design and deploy GenAI-enabled applications using Amazon Bedrock and SageMaker. This role involves engaging with AWS product owners, influencing product direction, and assisting enterprise customers in leveraging GenAI models to enhance their applications. The position requires deep technical expertise in large language models and machine learning, along with strong communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and deploy state-of-the-art machine learning solutions under Gen AI.
  • Build prototypes and proof of concepts (PoCs) for GenAI applications.
  • Evangelize AWS GenAI services and share best practices through blogs, white papers, and public speaking events.
  • Partner with Data Scientists, Solution Architects, and Sales teams to accelerate customer adoption of GenAI solutions.
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers and AWS Generative AI services teams to provide product improvement feedback.
  • Develop and support an internal community of GenAI subject matter experts worldwide.
  • Create field enablement materials to help integrate AWS GenAI solutions into customer architectures.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, and data analytics.
  • 1+ year experience with technologies related to large language models, including model evaluation and customization techniques.
  • Proficient in design, deployment, and evaluation of LLM-powered agents and tools.
  • 3+ years of experience in Machine Learning/AI/Deep Learning solutions using frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development using languages related to ML like Python or Java.
  • Master's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with optimizing ML workloads using model compression and distributed training.
  • Experience with open-source frameworks for building applications powered by language models.
  • Experience with AWS technologies like SageMaker, Step Functions, and EC2.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business and technical challenges.
