About the position

The Worldwide Specialist Solutions Architect for Generative AI at Amazon Bedrock GTM is responsible for helping large customers design and deploy applications powered by Generative AI. This role involves engaging with AWS product owners, influencing product direction, and assisting enterprise customers in leveraging Generative AI models to enhance their applications. The position requires deep technical expertise in large language models and involves collaboration with various teams to drive the adoption of AWS services for Generative AI.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and deploy state-of-the-art machine learning solutions under Generative AI, including building prototypes and proofs of concept.
  • Evangelize AWS Generative AI services and share best practices through blogs, white papers, and public speaking events.
  • Partner with Data Scientists, Solution Architects, Sales, and Business Development teams to accelerate customer adoption of Generative AI solutions.
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers and AWS Generative AI services teams to provide feedback for product improvements.
  • Develop and support an internal community of Generative AI subject matter experts and create enablement materials for the technical population.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
  • 3+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, security, and data analytics.
  • 1+ year of experience with large language models, including model evaluation and fine-tuning techniques.
  • Proficient in designing, deploying, and evaluating LLM-powered agents and tools.
  • 3+ years of experience in Machine Learning/AI/Deep Learning solutions using frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development using languages related to ML, such as Python or Java.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with optimizing ML workloads using model compression and distributed training.
  • Familiarity with open-source frameworks for building applications powered by language models like LangChain and LlamaIndex.
  • Customer-facing skills to represent AWS within the customer's environment and drive discussions with senior personnel.
  • Experience with AWS technologies like SageMaker, Step Functions, and EC2.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership and innovation in Machine Learning.
