About the position

Apple is seeking dynamic and highly motivated Supply Demand Planners for its Worldwide Operations group. This role is critical in ensuring operational and financial success by developing, communicating, and executing end-to-end product demand and supply plans across various distribution channels for multiple product lines. The Supply Demand Planner will work closely with various teams to forecast demand, manage inventory, and drive operational excellence in alignment with Apple's growth.

Responsibilities

  • Forecast demand, inventory, and multi-channel sell through.
  • Generate weekly and quarterly supply plans that meet Apple's financial objectives.
  • Evaluate risks and plan contingency measures to mitigate them.
  • Analyze product sales on a daily basis to identify opportunities and drive actions with partner groups.
  • Coordinate with regional product planning teams to ensure supply plans meet sales requirements.
  • Work with Marketing and New Product Operations teams to set launch quantities for new product introductions and ensure smooth transitions.
  • Partner with global procurement teams to allocate constrained components and meet raw material inventory targets.
  • Present product updates and recommended actions to the Operations executive management team weekly.
  • Identify improvement opportunities in the product planning process and drive projects to completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, analytics, business, engineering, or a related field.
  • Exceptional analytical capabilities and business savvy.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence in a matrixed organization.
  • Comfortable presenting to executive management.
  • Prior experience in complex quantitative analysis, product planning, production control, or inventory management is desired.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA or Master's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Prior experience in finance or consulting is a plus.
