About the position

The Worship Leader at Whole Life Christian Church is a part-time role focused on leading and developing the worship ministry for contemporary services. The position requires a strong relationship with Christ, vocal abilities, and a relational leadership style to encourage and develop volunteers. The Worship Leader will be responsible for planning and executing worship experiences that foster a connection with God and align with the church's vision.

Responsibilities

• Continue to grow and mature in your relationship with Christ as a godly person of integrity
• Connect with and embody the vision and mission of the church, encouraging new team members
• Lead, plan, and coordinate weekly worship, selecting songs that promote an encounter with God
• Collaborate with the worship team and musicians to plan and execute the Sunday worship experience
• Demonstrate leadership by discipling those in his/her sphere of influence
• Model and lead heartfelt worship in an invitational style, encouraging participation and pointing people to Jesus
• Contribute innovative ideas and invest in the growth of the worship ministry
• Demonstrate conflict resolution skills
• Enlist and develop volunteers
• Send weekly song selections to the media team
