Canterbury is seeking a dedicated Wound Care Coordinator to join our team, focusing on leading and integrating a comprehensive Skin Health and Wound Management program. This position is essential in collaborating with nursing center management to ensure high-quality care for our patients. The Wound Care Coordinator will play a pivotal role in overseeing the clinical aspects of skin health and wound care, serving as the clinical expert for skin, wound, and incontinent products. The role requires a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) who is committed to a patient-centered approach, integrating a team-based strategy for effective wound management. The Wound Care Coordinator will be responsible for managing durable medical equipment related to wound prevention and care, ensuring that all practices align with the highest standards of care. This position operates on a Monday through Friday schedule, with on-call responsibilities and occasional evening or weekend hours as part of a nursing center team. The successful candidate will also be involved in achieving nursing center goals related to skin health and pressure injury prevention, contributing to the overall health and well-being of our patients.
