About The Position
The Wound Nurse is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of nursing assistants and ensuring compliance with facility policies and procedures. This role involves administrative duties, charting and documentation, drug administration, personnel management, nursing care, staff development, safety and sanitation, equipment and supply management, care plan assessment, and budget planning. The Wound Nurse plays a critical role in maintaining the quality of care for residents in a long-term care facility.
