About the position

As a Wraparound Social Worker, you will be delivering culturally-sensitive, trauma-informed, and family-centered clinical services for Wraparound youth who are referred through social services, probation, or post-adoption services. In collaboration with county and community partners, you will provide clinical support aligned with Wraparound principles and rooted in Seneca's mission and values related to diversity, equity, and inclusion. You will serve as the clinical lead to the Facilitator, Support Counselor, Connections Specialist, and Family Partner to ensure the clinical needs of the youth are being met to help maintain the youth in the community and current placement. Services are provided almost exclusively in the community, including in families' homes, foster homes, schools, and other community locations.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the clinical lead on the Wraparound team providing counseling, collateral, and case management services as needed
  • Conducts intake assessments, safety and treatment planning, crisis intervention, discharge planning and other mental and behavioral health services as needed
  • Provides clinical support in case planning and consultation to team members
  • Completes clinical and mental health documents, incident reports and other necessary documentation in a timely manner
  • Participates in a rotational back up on-call system for crisis support
  • Coordinates and provides linkage to additional clinical support the youth may need

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Psychology/Counseling/Social Work
  • Registered with California BBS: ASW, AMFT, APCC, or full licensed
  • Be part of a rotating emergency on-call system, scheduled ahead of time
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Own vehicle. Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies' insurance policy
  • TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements
  • Proof of up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination

  • Experience directly supporting racially and ethnically diverse youth who may identify as a part of, but not limited to, the LGBTQ+ community
  • Time management skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities
