About The Position

The Writer Editor position at Constellation West involves collaborating with program leaders, product owners, and subject matter experts to create and edit various communication products. The role requires both independent and collaborative work to effectively communicate program content to diverse audiences, including executive-level staff. The position demands strong communication skills, research abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five years of relevant experience, or an additional four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent command of English grammar.
• Experience communicating with executive-level staff on complex technical issues.
• Research skills and ability to present findings concisely.
• Experience collaborating with graphic artists.
• Advanced practical knowledge of Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
• TOP SECRET clearance/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) eligibility with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Develop a range of communication products tailored to program, Agency, and national-level audiences.
• Create and edit talking points, briefings, website content, articles, narratives, posters, promotional items, and video scripts.
• Collaborate with graphic artists to visually communicate complex concepts.
• Present research findings concisely to diverse stakeholders.
• Work independently and collaboratively with program leaders and subject matter experts.
