The role requires a commitment of 12 hours per week over a 12-week period, although candidates with limited availability can complete the program in fewer weeks by working ahead. This is an unpaid internship, but college credit is available for those who qualify. Interns will engage in various responsibilities that include writing articles, researching relevant topics, and assisting with the organization's advocacy efforts. Additionally, interns will play a role in fundraising by creating personal fundraising campaigns and striving to meet set targets. The Borgen Project values diversity and encourages individuals from all backgrounds to apply, emphasizing that prior experience is not necessary.
