About the position

The Borgen Project is seeking passionate individuals for a Writer/Journalist Internship, which focuses on content creation for BORGEN Magazine and The Borgen Project Blog. This internship is designed for those who are eager to make a difference in the world, particularly in the areas of poverty alleviation and advocacy. The role is part-time, requiring a commitment of 12 hours per week over a duration of 12 weeks, and is conducted remotely. Interns have the flexibility to work ahead and complete the program in fewer weeks if their availability is limited. As a Writer/Journalist Intern, you will engage in various responsibilities that include writing articles, researching relevant topics, and assisting with the organization's advocacy efforts. Additionally, you will play a role in fundraising by creating a personal fundraising campaign and striving to meet set targets. This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about fighting poverty and making a positive impact, regardless of their academic background or prior experience. The Borgen Project has a rich history of advocacy, having worked for 20 years to support the passage of numerous bills that have positively affected nearly 500 million people in developing countries.
