About the position

The Guest Services Ambassador (GSA) serves as the primary point of contact for guests at Woodspring Suites, ensuring a positive guest experience through efficient front desk operations. This role involves interacting with guests, managing guest relations, and coordinating various operational tasks to maintain high standards of service and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Provide an excellent guest experience by greeting guests warmly and assisting as needed.
  • Conduct operational needs efficiently to minimize guest difficulties.
  • Solicit feedback from guests to assess satisfaction with services and facilities.
  • Respond to guest situations and manage conflicts effectively.
  • Inspect studios and public spaces daily to meet company and brand standards.
  • Respond effectively to emergencies according to established procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures at all times.
  • Coordinate front desk operations including check-ins, move-outs, renewals, reservations, and property tours.
  • Respond to guest service calls promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure the safety of the building and occupants, contacting emergency services when necessary.
  • Document work activities according to policy and procedure.
  • Execute lead management processes and meet sales and marketing objectives.
  • Review studio inventory daily to maximize revenue.
  • Maintain effective sales of ancillary offerings to meet guest needs and maximize revenue.
  • Perform laundry duties including sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens.
  • Cross-train on non-management staff duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience in guest relations or customer service.
  • Ability to manage guest conflicts and provide excellent service.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members.
  • Attention to detail in operational tasks and inspections.
  • Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in hospitality or hotel operations.
  • Familiarity with sales and revenue management processes.
