About the position

HII Mission Technologies Division is seeking a Ground Maneuver Lead to support a large Operations and Maintenance Contract within Mission Technologies. This position will be based at various global Army training sites around the world, and it is contingent upon contract award. The Ground Maneuver Lead will play a crucial role in the coordination and management of Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) integration for realistic scenario simulations. This involves providing translation and feedback mechanisms for Real-Time Unit (RTU) tactical decision-making, which is essential for fostering the evolution of operational capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in the deployment of training support devices, including Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (SUAS), Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (c-IED), and IED-Defeat technologies. This expertise is vital for accurately replicating combat scenarios that the training units will face. The Ground Maneuver Lead will also be responsible for providing Subject Matter Expert (SME) guidance necessary for the high-fidelity replication of Special Operations Forces (SOF) and higher command echelons during exercises. In addition to these responsibilities, the Ground Maneuver Lead will develop and deliver comprehensive After Action Reviews (AARs) and Training and Health Plans (THPs). These documents will ensure that RTUs have actionable insights to enhance their future performance. The role also includes comprehensive management of range operations, which encompasses planning, coordination, target configuration, and logistical oversight of Distributed Real-Time Simulation (DRTS) capabilities. Strict adherence to the Program of Instruction (PROCOB) and Safety Management Review (SMR) protocols is required to ensure safety and efficiency in all training operations.

  • Provide translation and feedback mechanisms for RTU tactical decision-making.
  • Deploy training support devices such as SUAS, c-IED, and IED-Defeat to replicate combat scenarios accurately.
  • Provide SME guidance for high-fidelity replication of SOF and higher command echelons during exercises.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive AARs and THPs for RTUs.
  • Manage range operations including planning, coordination, target configuration, and logistical oversight of DRTS capabilities.
  • Ensure strict adherence to PROCOB and SMR for safety and efficiency in training operations.

Requirements

  • Expertise in LVC integration and realistic scenario simulations.
  • Experience with training support devices such as SUAS, c-IED, and IED-Defeat.
  • Ability to provide SME guidance for SOF and higher command echelons.
  • Strong skills in developing AARs and THPs.
  • Experience in range operations management and logistical oversight.
