About the position

The Worldwide Senior Communications Specialist for Human Resources at Kemin Industries is responsible for developing and managing internal communication strategies that enhance employee engagement and support HR initiatives across global locations. This role involves collaboration with HR leaders and the corporate Marketing team to ensure effective communication aligned with the company's mission and values. The position can be based at the headquarters in Des Moines, Iowa, or remotely within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR leaders to develop communication strategies across the employee life cycle, including employer branding, recruitment, onboarding, engagement, development & training, succession, and performance management.
• Work across multiple media platforms to design engaging communication materials including audio, video, print, and digital.
• Design and implement an internal HR branding strategy.
• Partner with corporate Marketing and Talent Acquisition to promote Kemin as Employer of Choice.
• Design and write content for social media sites, as part of Kemin's employer branding strategy.
• Manage multiple communication campaigns at once, developing, maintaining and implementing each one according to well established timelines.
• Propose and implement the communication content and planning in support of employee recognition, engagement surveys, and corporate culture initiatives.
• Advise HR leadership on communication strategies and best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in communications and/or employee engagement within a global organization.
• Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Experience with internal communication platforms (e.g., SharePoint, intranet, or collaboration tools such as MS Teams or Slack).
• Ability to work across cultures, with strong intercultural communication skills.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with design and video editing tools is a plus.
