About the position

The Senior Designer role at Apple focuses on creating exceptional user experiences for the Worldwide Operations Business Intelligence (BI) team. This position involves designing and developing user experience strategies, visualizations, and interactions for various BI solutions, ensuring a consistent and engaging experience across all platforms. The designer will collaborate with global teams to finalize designs and document solutions, playing a crucial role in how data and information are visualized within the business.

Responsibilities

• Conceive, design, and develop user experience strategies for BI solutions.
• Create high-fidelity illustrations, frameworks, and prototypes to communicate design ideas.
• Build engaging and consistent experiences across all BI solutions in Operations.
• Prototype new visualizations and interactions for BI developed solutions.
• Collaborate with worldwide and regional teams to finalize designs and document solutions.
• Participate in the implementation of designs and solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent industry experience.
• Familiarity with BI reporting, analytics, and visualization products such as Business Objects, Corda, OBIEE, Tableau.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Experience applying user experience design principles to data and information visualization.
