About the position

The Wynn Rewards Casino Host at Encore Boston Harbor is responsible for acquiring new players to enhance the property's player base and increase revenue. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, assisting with special events and promotions, and developing strong relationships with guests to foster loyalty. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to guest care and proactive service, ensuring a memorable experience for all visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team to grow the revenue and income for the organization.
  • Spend significant time on the casino floor to greet and assist guests during visits and events.
  • Assist at special events and promotions by checking guests in and explaining how promotions work.
  • Develop one-on-one relationships with guests to provide exceptional service and foster loyalty.
  • Ensure all guests are assisted efficiently and courteously.
  • Resolve complaints and issues effectively, escalating concerns as necessary.
  • Explain games offered by the casino and current marketing events and promotions.
  • Promote new Wynn Rewards enrollments by approaching guests playing without a card.
  • Arrange reservations for guests for dining, spa/salon, or hotel services.
  • Make appropriate business decisions based on recorded play and comp availability.
  • Assist with player development events.
  • Demonstrate outstanding customer service and communication skills.
  • Think independently to make real-time decisions to maximize guest service experience.
  • Maintain a well-groomed professional appearance at all times.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or above.
  • Required to obtain and maintain registration or a license from the Massachusetts Gaming Commission.
  • High school degree or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in casino, hospitality, telemarketing, promotions, events, or customer service.
  • General computer skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
  • Experience with planning and project management is necessary.
  • Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as policy manuals and maintenance instructions.
  • Fluency in English; second language is a plus.
  • Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations and maintain reports.
