About the position
The Wyoming Divisional Director of Clinical Operations (DDCO) at EmpRes Operated by Evergreen is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and success of the resident care staff in skilled nursing centers. This role emphasizes maintaining high standards of clinical excellence, supporting nursing leadership, and ensuring effective training and coaching for staff. The DDCO will also analyze patient complaint trends and implement resolutions while fostering a positive work environment that encourages team engagement.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of resident care staff.
- Ensure high standards for clinical excellence are maintained.
- Support nursing leadership within skilled nursing centers.
- Accountable for consistent implementation of clinical administration standards.
- Conduct training and coaching in line with business and healthcare standards.
- Analyze patient complaint trends and develop resolutions.
- Champion change and innovative approaches to clinical services delivery.
- Create a positive and professional work environment.
Requirements
- Current unencumbered Registered Nursing (RN) license in Wyoming.
- Experience with clinical leadership and operational project management.
- Strong organizational skills and solution-focused mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of QA, CMS, regulatory compliance, and infection control practices.
- Certification in Rehab Nursing, geriatrics, or psychiatric nursing.
- Experience as a nursing services supervisor in long-term care.
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR), specifically PointClickCare (PCC).
- Ability to build effective relationships throughout all levels of the organization.
