About the position

The Non Certified Technician (NCT) position at CareNow is designed for individuals passionate about patient care and looking to start their career in radiology. This role involves performing radiology procedures, maintaining equipment, and supporting clinic operations while ensuring high levels of patient satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Perform timely and quality radiology procedures for evaluation and treatment by the attending physician.
  • Conduct quality control checks/audits on radiologic equipment.
  • Perform drug screens, urinalysis, and other in-house lab tests, including processing specimens for reference laboratories.
  • Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, and x-rays sent out to other labs.
  • Work closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator, and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure occupational client's preference card is followed and occupational procedures are adhered to.
  • Perform routine office functions including copying, faxing, scanning, mailing, sorting, and filing of patient and clinic materials as appropriate.
  • Be cross-trained for Front Desk duties, including greeting patients, checking patients in/out on computer, and performing End of Day close out procedures.
  • Assist with general patient care when needed.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in a clinical patient setting is beneficial.
  • NCT - A Non-Certified Technician license in Texas is required.
  • Ability to obtain a BLS Certification within 30 days of start is required.
  • Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
  • NCT License issued by the Board of Medical Examiners/Texas Department of State Health Services is required.
