About the position
The X-Ray Technologist position at UCI Medical Affiliates involves operating x-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images that assist healthcare providers in diagnosing and treating patients. This full-time position requires flexibility in working hours, including 12-hour shifts and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Operate x-ray equipment and produce x-ray images for diagnostic purposes.
- Triaging and rooming patients, including taking vital signs.
- Review patient history and summarize the reason for the visit.
- Assist healthcare providers in diagnosing and treating diseases or injuries.
Requirements
- 1-year degree in Radiographic technology.
- Current SC license for radiographic technology.
- Limited Practice Radiographer-General Certification accepted.
- Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
- Trained in OSHA/HIPAA compliance.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to reflect the company's mission, vision, and values through actions and conduct.
Nice-to-haves
- 2-year degree in Radiographic technology.
- Full practice radiographer certification.
