About the position

Fast Pace Health is seeking a highly-skilled and experienced X-Ray Technologist to join our growing team. As an X-Ray Technologist at Fast Pace Health, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality imaging services. You will be responsible for preparing exam and treatment rooms for patient intake, performing nursing duties such as measuring and recording vital signs, drawing blood, administering injections, and conducting clinical tasks. You will operate X-Ray equipment to produce diagnostic images, explain procedures to patients, and ensure their safety and comfort during scans. Additionally, you will maintain imaging equipment, prepare and manage supplies, and assist patients utilizing a Virtual Medicine Provider. Responsibilities

  • Maintain compliance with Federal and State regulations, guidelines, and requirements, including knowledge of HIPAA.
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient intake.
  • Perform nursing duties including measuring and recording patients' vital signs, drawing blood, giving injections, and performing clinical tasks.
  • Observe patients and chart/report changes in their conditions, taking necessary actions as needed.
  • Operate or oversee the operation of X-Ray equipment to produce diagnostic images.
  • Explain procedures to patients and ensure their safety and comfort during X-Ray scans.
  • Ensure imaging equipment is in proper operating condition.
  • Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatment.
  • Assist patients utilizing a Virtual Medicine Provider.
  • Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forward charts as appropriate on a daily basis.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technologist, preferably in a clinic setting or urgent care.
  • High School Diploma or its equivalent.
  • Limited Scope X-Ray Technologist License and proof of ARRT License.
