About the position

The Xfinity Retail Assistant Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a retail location, ensuring a best-in-class experience for both the store team and customers. This role involves providing leadership, coaching, and motivation to the retail sales team to achieve sales goals and maintain a performance-based culture. The Assistant Store Manager collaborates with other leaders to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to branding standards while managing inventory and customer engagement effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Achieves all sales and service metrics through daily supervision and coaching of the retail sales team.
  • Proactively coaches and develops store team members to perform their responsibilities at a high level.
  • Provides onboarding support and feedback to new hires to ensure exceptional customer experience.
  • Ensures store environment follows published planograms and branding standards, with fully functional customer demos.
  • Oversees daily sales floor responsibilities, including staffing, scheduling, and resolution of customer escalations.
  • Drives operational consistency with a focus on back of house standards and showroom processes.
  • Evaluates processes for improvement and innovation, particularly in inventory management.
  • Leads store inventory cycle counts and ensures compliance with requirements.
  • Reviews store reports for improvement opportunities in sales, inventory, and productivity.
  • Coaches team members on product positioning and customer engagement.
  • Administers cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Monitors customer feedback and takes action to improve store experience.
  • Builds collaborative relationships with market and region stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Mid-level experience in retail management or sales.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Advanced knowledge of company products and services.
  • Experience in coaching and developing team members.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand/move about the store constantly.

  • Experience in managing sales teams.
