About the position

The Xfinity Retail Assistant Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a retail location, ensuring a best-in-class experience for both the store team and customers. This role involves providing leadership, coaching, and motivation to the retail sales team to achieve sales goals and maintain a performance-based culture. The Assistant Store Manager collaborates with other leaders to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to branding standards while managing inventory and customer engagement effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Achieves all sales and service metrics through daily supervision and performance management of the retail sales team.
  • Proactively coaches and develops store teams to perform their responsibilities at a high level.
  • Provides onboarding support and feedback to new hires to ensure they are on track with their training curriculum.
  • Ensures store environment follows published planograms and branding standards, with all customer demos functional.
  • Coordinates daily sales floor responsibilities, including staffing, scheduling, and resolution of customer issues.
  • Drives operational consistency with a focus on back-of-house standards and showroom floor processes.
  • Evaluates current processes for improvement and innovation opportunities.
  • Leads store inventory cycle counts ensuring compliance with requirements.
  • Reviews store reports for improvement opportunities in sales, inventory, and efficiency.
  • Coaches team members on product positioning with customers.
  • Ensures high levels of courtesy and integrity in customer interactions.
  • Stays current on products, services, and industry trends to reinforce findings with the team.
  • Coordinates cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrates tools to supervise customer feedback and improve store experience.

Requirements

  • 5 years of sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Leadership experience
