About the position

The Xfinity Retail Sales Consultant at Comcast is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support by assisting customers with their product and service needs. This role involves demonstrating product capabilities, achieving sales goals, and ensuring a positive customer experience through effective onboarding and support. The consultant works under moderate supervision and is accountable for individual performance and team impact.

Responsibilities

  • Passionately represents products and services by sharing and demonstrating product and sales know-how with customers.
  • Provides product demonstrations to educate customers on full product capabilities to increase their experience.
  • Takes a customer-first approach with all customer interactions, listening and evaluating customer needs to provide appropriate solutions.
  • Achieves sales and customer experience goals and objectives.
  • Provides comprehensive customer onboarding activities and ensures customers fully understand how to use and handle all company products/services and gains their consent.
  • Performs operational and administrative tasks, partnering with customer care to resolve customer issues as appropriate.
  • Consistently demonstrates sales excellence and professionalism with integrity and a warm and friendly demeanor to customers and teammates.
  • Aligns with all company and retail operational policies and procedures.
  • Completes training requirements and engages in team huddles and learning, understanding the sales compensation plan and its key elements.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, holidays, variable schedule(s) and overtime as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Customer-focused with strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and promote diversity and inclusiveness
  • Technical knowledge of products and services
  • Self-motivated with resilience and critical thinking problem-solving skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in retail sales
  • Familiarity with digital tools and experiences
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
