About the position

The Xfinity Retail Sales Consultant is responsible for assisting customers with their product and service needs, providing a world-class sales and service experience. This role involves demonstrating product capabilities, achieving sales goals, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective onboarding and support. The consultant works under moderate supervision and is accountable for individual performance and team impact.

Responsibilities

  • Passionately represent products and services by sharing and demonstrating product and sales knowledge with customers.
  • Provide product demonstrations to educate customers on full product capabilities.
  • Take a customer-first approach with all customer interactions.
  • Listen and evaluate customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Achieve sales and customer experience goals and objectives.
  • Provide comprehensive customer onboarding activities and ensure customers understand how to use and manage all company products/services.
  • Perform operational and administrative tasks.
  • Partner with customer care to resolve customer issues as appropriate.
  • Demonstrate sales excellence and professionalism with integrity and a warm demeanor.
  • Comply with all company and retail operational policies and procedures.
  • Complete training requirements and actively engage in team huddles and learning.
  • Understand the sales compensation plan and its key elements.
  • Work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
  • May be asked to work in alternate stores outside of home base store.
  • Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.
  • Carry and lift up to 25-pound boxes, stand, and move about the store constantly.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience required.
  • Customer-focused with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and demonstrate professional integrity.
